HEAD PROS: Leaders on the Lacrosse field
Roberts will lead the Curry College women’s lacrosse program (the Colonels) for eleventh season in 2011. Roberts is currently ranked 22nd in NCAA Division III for Winningest Active Coaches by win percentage and 18th by total wins.
In 2009 the Colonels qualified for the conference tournament as the #6 seed and upset the #3 seed Western New England College to advance to the conference semi-finals. The Colonels were defeated by #2 seed Roger Williams
During her debut season and Curry’s first year of varsity competition, Roberts’ squad won four of its first eight games to open the 2001 campaign. In 2002, Roberts was named as CCC “Coach of the Year.”
A native of Cape Cod, she graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1992, then spent the next eight years in Henniker, New Hampshire. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from New England College in 1997, and was a standout four-year, two-sport athlete for the Pilgrims.
In 1994 and 1995, she was a soccer team co-captain and Commonwealth Coast Conference all-star. In 1996 and 1997, she was a lacrosse team co-captain and a member of the 1997 New England National Team.

CAMP LEVELS OF PLAY
Comprehensive/All Skills Camp: (Co-ed: Ages 8 – 18 years old)
Classes are programmed for three different proficiency levels: beginners, intermediates and advanced players — of all ages. Each student will be tested weekly and placed in a group of similar ability, and age. Beginners will be playing softball in just a few days; intermediates will improve all aspects of their game; and advanced players will sharpen their game to a competitive edge.
Position Training: LAX campers are also trained based on the position of play. As some drills are “position specific,” this helps the camper concentrate on the skills used for that specific position. For those campers who have not yet decided which position they prefer, Head Pros will discuss their options with them.
Professional Player Appearances:
MB Sports Camps understands the importance for our campers to meet and hear from the experience of professional players. Last year we had Kristen Kjellman, a Team USA player, coach a session of girls lacrosse. The campers benefited from her experience and by asking her questions about her journey to become a professional womans lacrosse player.
