Soccer Program
MBSC’s Soccer Program consists of 5 to 6 hours of daily instruction which includes:
- Speed moves
- Group attack
- Finishing
- 1 v 1
- Receiving and passing
- Ball mastery/control
- and much more
Scrimmages: are held daily and campers will be applying what they have learned from their drills during the games.
Evaluations: Campers are evaluated on the first day and are divided considering ability, position, size and age.
Equipment: All campers must bring their own equipment (including a water bottle). The camp will have balls for instruction, and a list of required and recommended equipment and clothing will be sent to parents upon registration.
Position Training: Soccer campers are also trained based on the position of play. As some drills are “position specific,” this helps the camper concentrate on the skills used for that specific position. For those campers who have not yet decided which position they prefer, Head Pros will discuss their options with them and allow them to train in many positions or those where they are showing the most progress.
Goalie Training: MBSC has goalie specific training every week.
Skill Development: MB Soccer Camp covers all four essential aspects of skill development: strength andconditioning, technical precision, tactical development and sport psychology.
